Bryan Matland is happy to be with Freespace Dance again after being away to work on other projects. Bryan found himself a niche in modern dance. Bryan also has a background in Tae Kwon Do training (3rd degree black belt), as well as some gymnastics.

Seth MinerBorn and raised in Boise, Idaho, Seth's training in the arts began at the University of Idaho, where he double-majored in Vocal Performance and Mathematics. Dance piqued his interest there, and he transferred to Boise State University where he studied with Marla Hansen of Idaho Dance Theatre while working on his degrees in music and math. A performing apprenticeship with IDT inspired him to pursue dance full-time at North Carolina School of the Arts, where he graduated with a BFA in Modern Dance in 2007. Seth has had the opportunity to study with top-notch instructors such as Nancy Starks-Smith, Tatianna Baganova, Sean Curran, and Gerri Houlihan, and to dance in the works of choreographers such as Bill Young and Doug Varone. Since moving to New York in the fall of 2006, Seth has worked with Randy James Dance Works, Body Art Dance, and currently performs with Mary Seidman and Dancers, Isabel Gotzkowsky and Friends, VIA Dance Collaborative, and Tze Chun Dance Company. Seth joined Freespace Dance in January 2008.

Dan Mueller, Rehearsal Director of Freespace Dance, has been with the company for the last four years. He has worked with choreographers Maxine Steinman, Pat Graney, and Shapiro and Smith. Dan holds a BFA in Dance and is currently teaching throughout New Jersey.

Blair Ritchie graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BFA in dance from Mason Gross School of the Arts. In addition to dancing with Freespace Dance, she is currently a member the Von Howard Project with Christian Von Howard. Aside from Dance, Blair is currently pursuing her other passion, Anusara Yoga. She is a certified Yoga Teacher who enjoys continuing her study iin both Anusara Yoga and Rajanaka Philosophy.

Jennifer Segovia is a native of Stamford, CT, and holds a BFA in Dance from Montclair State University as well as an Associates Degree in Business Administration from Gibbs College. She has performed with Peter Pucci Plus Dancers at Bryant Park in NYC and for the half time show for the WNBA in Madison Square Garden. Jennifer has also worked with choreographers such as Shapiro & Smith, Pat Graney, Maxine Steinman and Nancy Lushington. Jennifer teaches extensively throughout the New Jersey area. This is her fourth year dancing with Freespace Dance.

Nicole Smith joined Freespace in September 2007. She holds a BFA in Dance, Summa Cum Laude, from Montclair State University. She has performed the works of Alexandra Beller, Alwin Nikolais, Robert Battle, Maxine Steinman, Nancy Lushington, and Joelle Van Sickle as well as in Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage in Orlando, Florida at Walt Disney World. Nicole was the recipient of Montclair State University's Department of Theater and Dance's Choreographic Excellence Award in 2005 and 2007, as well as the Linda Roberts Outstanding Senior Dance Award in 2007. In addition to Freespace, Nicole currently teaches dance and is a physical therapist's aide in North Jersey.
