Freespace Dance receives Grants from Dodge and NJSCA

Jul. 31, 2008 — Freespace Dance is honored to have received $15,000 in General Operating Support from the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation. This funding will allow the company to expand in collaborations and new projects and also expanding the Dance Program. In addition, they are working with The PGK Project in San Diego to pilot the East-West Dance Project as well as help the company's growth in the infrastructure. The company recognizes that they were one of few organizations that received an increase and thanks the foundation for their continued support.

Freespace was also awarded $6600 in from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. This continues funding for general operating support. The council also nominated the company for a Cultural Trust Grant.
